SLI Question

would i see any speed difference in on line gaming with SLI.
beside from AAx2 is there any difference in non sli games.
offline games i know it should be well worth it for SLI.
Oblivion at 1600 1200 or higher sucks with a 7900gt.
forced to lower game hardness [get tiered of dying]
1280 1024 battles have good fps
with SLI i would have good battle speed, higher res, etc.
problem is half my time is spent on on line games.
