Ok I'm pretty much upgrading my whole pc and I'm planning on buying a GigaByte GA-K8NF9 Nf4Ultra Mobo with Athlon 64 3800+ X2, Corsair TwinX1024 XMS3200LL, Geforce evga 7900GT KO.

I've spent hours and hours looking for a CPU heatsink+fan, and I cant really decide what to get, I dont really want something very noisy and yet, I want good preformance, at least enough to OC to 2.2-2.4ghz, I have around 50-60$ budget to spare.

I've seen many compability issues for today's heatsinks/fans and I was wondering if my case and the new motherboard I mentioned before would be compatable for whatever fan it is you're recommanding me:
Chieftec Silver Dragon Full Tower-
(I've included several pics of my case to show ppl here, they might have some idea if it will fir or not, I have no idea).

(the mobo in this pic is A7n8x deluxe, but just showing an example)

When I buy something I wanna make damn sue before if it will be compatable with my system.

Any help would be highly appriciated, thanks in advance :)
If you can please reply today cause I'm planning on buying my new pc sometime tomorrow ;)

You might have problems with something like a big typhoon, you could use the stock cooler to get 2.2-2.4.

Is the stock fan very loud? and how well it preforms?

Stock fan isnt too loud, BT is really quiet and works very well.

If you dont have anything odd, BT usually will fit, i've had it fit in about 4 of my motherboard / cases.

Sorry for being a noob, but I'm unfemiliar with the term BT, if you could clarify it for me.

I just got the Scythe Mine and got it installed yesterday to get everything running. It's big, but it was really easy to install and cools very well. I swapped in a 120mm fan to add a bit and I love it. It's cheaper than the BT too.

Im not an expert or so but those heatsinks do look gigantic, judging from the GigaByte GA-K8NF9 Nf4Ultra mobo and my Chieftec full tower pics, do you think they would fit?
and what would u recommend more, the Scythe as mentioned before or the Big Typhoon from Thermaltake?

a lot of people are singing the praises of the tuniq tower. not sure about compatibility, though.
also, you can't go wrong with the thermalright si-120 paired with your favorite 120mm fan.

That BT seems a little scary size, I mean, my case is about 20CM width http://www.tech-mods.net/[email protected]/Typhoon/18.jpg but this looks like it completely blocks the ram :/ I have Corsair TwinX1024 XMS3200LL, would they even fit there?

Should with no problem.. The base is much narrower then the top and I have no problem with clearence on my rig
