Ghost Recon Advanced WarFighter help !!

I have this on my main gaming rig at home ... I just built another gaming rig for work ... hehe ... When i try to install this game the InstalShield Wizard says " Setup has experienced an error" "Error code: 6001"

I stick this cd in an old *** P3 computer that was just laying around for 3 years , and it loads up just fine ....

Anyone ever encountered this problem before?

This work gaming rig set up is:

Power supple: OCZ powerstream 520
Main Board: Epox 9NPA+ SLI
Processor: X2 4400
Mem: 1g x 2 G.skill
Vid card PCI-E XFX 7800GTX single card
Plextor cd/dvd combo drive
Hard Drive: SATA 2 250g

Anyways Im banging my head about this at work now ... hehe

try deleting this folder should fix it

delete the following folder

C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\Professional\RunTime\0701

If this fails to correct the problem, we recommend you RENAME (not delete) the entire C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\ folder and try again. You may rename the folder to anything you like, but we recommend something similar to 'InstallShield-old'.
