phasing a X600Pro AiW wheres the ramsinks supposed to go?

heres the picture of my videocard. , the heatsink wasnt touching anything but the processor so am i to take it that it requires no ramsinks?

ill be getting them anyway if there are places to put them, but if the card maker sees no reason to then i should be ok without them for alittle bit as long as im cooling them well.

where do i put the ramsinks? i bet its the rectangular peices that look like the ones on ram

Which for me means "ram", but I know wat I'm reading.

Ha, what if it just said "FAST RAM FROM SAMSUNG". That would pwn.

you may not get that RAM to go all that far without a voltmod (which I wouldn't recommend), as they are TSOP-II modules. Good luck anyway though.

shouldnt you know where ram is located on a video card before you even contemplate phase change cooling it and volt moding it

I figured he knew were it was and was just asking to make sure he wasn't wrong.
Im still clueless as to why he posted this here maybe the vid card section?

Are you experementing on older hardware with phase and voltmods (to spare the new rig's hardware the intital learning phase?)

i have that same card and let me tell you...

those sticks get hot. i could get pretty high on the ram with no coolers but,

what i thought off using was those little flat heatsinks that are screwed vertically on mobo's. some are flat on the bottom and would be perfect for this application.

i had a set of four but ended up using the mobo instead and buying an other card with aftermarket heatsinks.

just go to any non-computer electronics store and try to find some heatsinks. you should sink em if you plan on overclocking and running 24/7

ps, that core needs a volt mod.

yeah i was pretty sure but i always thought that they came with ramsinks on them generally so i figured maybe i was wrong.

nah this is my main rig the one in the sig. i was going to get a 7900GT and volt mod it and put it in there to be chilled. but ive exausted my funds for a little bit so im just working on the case. once i have that done then ill focus on getting colder temps once i have my case finished and have a cascade going then ill get a new system and shoot for a record.

know any conductive ink mods to do on it? and i'll just order some ramsinks online.
