Hi all,
I have this strange problem which I cannot solve , please someone shed some light on this problem.
The Aquamark 3 benchmark indicates it loses upto 30% from 62000-->44000
It happens randomly on reboot, soft reboot. Better when cold started.
If I boot it a few times then it will achieve 62000+, if I press the reset button it often runs at 44000.
System specs :
Asus P4P800-X Bios Ver 1009
P4 3.0E Prescott Stepping D0 (@ 250X15, 1.5V)
Ram : 2X Geil PC3200 (2.5,3,3,6) Dual mode. (2.7V)
6600GT AGP card ( 585/1190)
Hyper 48+ cooler (CPU temp @ full load 55C)
AGP.PCI - 66/33
Timing 2.5,3,3,6 ( MAM disabled, Infinite, 64T)
HT - ON
When it is running slow in Aquamark, 3dMark03 and 05 also indicates upto 30% slowdown, Oblivion also slows down with the MOUSE stuttering as I move it in the menu screen.
Anyone can help in this situation? It also does this at no overclock!
Sisandra memory bench and cpu bench does NOT show a slowdown even if Aquamark is slow.
