How much improvement would a x800xl give over my 9800pro?

Hello,
I found an ati aiw radeon x800xl 256mb for $180 canadian and was wondering if it is worth the money to get this to replace my ati radeon 9800pro 128mb? Or is there something better I can get near that price range (agp card)?

What is the rest of your system? That would help give a clearer answer.

amd xp 2500+

Do the x600xl come in agp? I thought they were only pci express. I had an x800xl that was pci express and it performed very good. It was almost on par with my older 6800 gt.

I actually made that transition from a 9800XT to a X800XL. You will notice a significant increase in fps as well as IQ. Personally I wouldn't waste my time with an 800XL when you can find 800XT/850XT cards for a reasonable price, however go for what you can afford.

how much longer can you wait? isnt dx10 coming out soon? i see a pt in waiting but some would argue otherwise
