I just got my EVGA 7900GT Signature series card (BTW...very kick ass) I have this card running OC'd at 670/1800...which by all means is very forgiving indeed.

so...............I'm either thinking of picking up another EVGA 7900GT sig. and doing the same OC...(i've heard of overall good consistancy with these cards when it comes to OCing) or going with of course the new 7950GX2 and selling off the signature series..

By the way things are looking....getting another sig. series and running SLI may be better. If able to do 670/1800 in SLI then I think that would still be a better performance increase then say a single 7950GX2.

The only thing I'd be missing is the additional 512 megs of RAM. Which is kind of a bummer, but I do say that the 670/1800 OC deffinitly makes up for that.

what do you think I should do?

Honestly i would just pick up another 7900gt. The 7950gx2 is suppose to me a limited quanity (atleast that is what i hear), and if you need to RMA it for any reason you may not get another one possibly.

I don't think it's going to be limited quantity, as Nvidia isn't going to be releasing their new series for a while (I'm guessing Q1 07).

I just submitted a step-up via eVGA to go from a 7900gtx to a 7950gx2. I think a 7950gx2 would be a better idea than two 7900gt cards due to the amount of vram. Unreal Engine 3 games are going to love vram (like UT2007, Gears of War, etc.) so that's why I'm stepping up. This card competes with two 7900gtx cards in SLI as well,
