How many fans do you have...lying around?

To show the true sign of a air cooler, i figured this would be a good thread

How many fans do you have lying around, NOT in a system/case aka spares for fun.

ive got:
120's
12 Yate Loons D12 SL-12
1 Delta AFB1212VHE (1 is gutted since it broke while sucking a quarter off of my dresser)
1 Vantec Stealth
1 Sanyo Denki SanAce 120L (24v, metal casing)
1 EverFlow R121225BL (broken, but gonna try to fix)

92's

1 Delta ASB0912L

Mind you i did recently just sell about 9 fans to my buddy who got a similar case to mine (custom made also) because he went to water

classifieds and then hold to see if value increases

or just when i find computers on side of road, i gut em for good stuff, usually only fans, since people around here think that having a P1 is amazingly fast

i just got a sweet nidec fan from an old computer!!

this thing runs from like 5 volts to 12 volts, and pushes so much air..it's so quiet..80mm

so laying around i have ...1 80mm fan total

10 masscool 80mm ball bearing not sleave fans.
4 antec 80mm fans.
2 delta 120mm 100 something cfm fans.
I delta 90mm 70 something cfm fan.
3 coolermaster 120's that are not in my case.
a whole bunch of those little fans on the amd64 stock cooler.
I have 4 amd64 stock coolers laying around do those count ?
3 amd dual core heatsinks aside from the one in my rig.

im gonna say that HSF's dont count, fans from them do, but not the HSandF

just like the "how many case fans" doesnt include psu fans

If I had to count, it would take all day to list them, I have to many to count laying around. Can't have to many fans now.

I bought most of them in liquidation lots on Ebay and elsewhere. I usually give them away locally, if someone has a PC problem and they ask me for help, I bring fans :bday:

Every now and then I will list 100 or so at cost here in the forums when I feel I have to many, which is about every couple years. When I went overseas a couple weeks ago, I brought at least a couple dozen, If I go away for a long time and I don't have enough fans, I get homesick.

1 120mm panaflo. Stopped using it because of the loud mechanical clicking noise it made.

1 120mm coolermaster fan that I replaced in my case. Like the person above me said, it's ultra quiet but also ultra low CFM

I'd have two but I gutted the 2nd one so I could use the frame as a spacer for my duct setup.

2 80mm no name fans from an old case.

I don't buy stuff that I don't need or that I don't intend to use anytime soon. Waste of money that I could spend on other things.

man I work at a recycling plant and a local comuity college repalced comeputers and in the contract all old computer must be destroyed.. we had to remove all plactics out so I took all the fans out.... I got (3)3feet high*3feet tall*3feet deep, boxes full of fans... there was a bunch of ram and cpus and all of them went to a company that had the contract for the new ones... all hard drives were smashed to prevent I quess privacy something or another...lol but i got lost of fans out of the deal...lol and a few dvd players.

2x Sunon 120s My first fans ever. Bought them for my first build.
A bunch of Delta AFB1212VHEs
1x Delta high speed tri blade
1x Sunon blower. Dunno what to do with it yet. Bought it on the forums.
2x Small blowers. Also bought on forums. Dunno what to do with it.
5x 40mm counter roatating fans.

Boxes of crap, collected over the years. Mostly all stripped, some were from trash computers I salvaged at my school. A lot were from stock case fans, burnt out PSUs, and old computers that got stripped. I did buy that crappy PCI slot blower and the 10 60mm ystech screamers.

Think they were $0.75 each from svc.com a long time ago. I know I am using 1, and I think I gutted 2 for other fans. They were pretty bad fans. I only had 1 fan ever fail on me, and it was one of those ystechs. :shrug:
