Convert screenshots to jpegs?

I used 'CTRL/Print screen' to take some screen shots and pasted them into Wordpad. Now I can't find the trick to get the screenies out of Word into a bmp/jpeg or other photo extension so I can edit/upload them to my site. It's probably something real stupid, but hey, it's Thursday, what can I say?

I've cut and paste, and can pull the file up, but none of my photo editors will take the paste.
Any help?

Have you tried goold ole MS Paint? It should be able to export as a jpeg, gif, tiff, or bmp.

Yeah, it worked! I figured it was something stoopid. I had forgotton about MS Paint.
Should've known, I could've pasted direct to MSPaint, now I know!

Anytime. MS Paint is the easiest because it comes with XP and can simply output to many formats.
