Anyone know how to make the icons smaller? I noticed that the only reason it feels cluttered is because the icons are HUGE lol..

what's your resolution set at. This may be a pain, but you can just right click on the icon select strech icon and shrink it to whatever size you want

I've stopped using gnome (switched to xfce), so I can't verify this, but there's probably something in the settings manager that allows you to choose the size of the icons. A few minutes poking around there should get you to the screen you need.

Od do like I did, turn off all desktop icons, use two toolbars on autohide and you have no issues with icon size.
