7900gt temps down 10C

all i did was put some AS5 on and the load temps went down from 95C to 85C still burning hot though

Ouch, what speeds you running at? Still stock cooling?

EDIT: Looked at sig, nice OC but isn't the heat killing your card?

ya the heats killer im sure with a good cooller i could get about 660 with 1.3v so i'm getting the thermalright V1 ultra soon. and i'm going to put 2 of the delta 120CFM fans on it.

I don't know why yours is running so hot. My brother's 7900GT had the stock cooler on it without AS5 and his ran at like 56-57 load with a 0.2 volt mod and core clock at 670 or so.

I finally got my replacment video card and motherboard last night up and running with my new water loop and my 7900GT is running at 35-36 idle with a 0.35 volt mod. I cranked the core up to 750 and it was stable!
