Anyone ever thought of moving caps to install insulation?

I was taking a look at my MB and as is typical with ASUS' MB's, there are caps RIGHT next to the CPU socket.

I was wondering if anyone has ever removed the caps and relocated them to the back of the board? Would this be possible? There is more than enough clearance between the case and MB for the caps.

just make sure you have positive where's its supposed too.

One of old bencher OC-Rookie and few others used to do it when intel first released lga775.
It works fine if you have the skill to do it
