Pro Wrestling fans: Your favorite WWE/WWF/WCW/ECW/TNA match of all time?

I assume with so many people @ ocforums there might be some die-hard pro wrestling fans here. If that may be you, what match do you think is the greatest of all time? I'm interested in knowing what match or matches you thought were awesome.

For me, I think the Mankind/Undertaker match at the '98 King of the Ring was the best. I can't think of anything yet that can top Mankind being thrown off of the cage and through a table, then through the top of the cage, and then the thumb tacks.

Also, the Mike Awesome / Masato Tanaka "ecw rules" match at last year's One Night Stand PPV was pretty good, one of the better ones I've seen in recent years.

Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant (the one where he slammed Andre and tore his shoulder muscles and blew his knee out)

Ultimate Warrior vs Andre the Giant (Where it lasted like 30 seconds and Warrior Gorilla Pressed Andre).

sorry i think 'pro' wrestling is borderline-gay. sweaty guys in tight suits crawling all over each other...come on.

i mean, everyone knows its fake. (atleast i hope most people know this)

everything about it is staged. its more like a ballet than a fighting match. everything is perfectly choreographed so that no one actually gets hurt. its all acting.

i've been to Terry Bollea's (hulk hogan's) house and hung out with him before. (he has some sweet cars btw). i've personally heard him talk about how he thinks its funny that lots of people really think what goes on is 'real fighting' and 'real conflict'. it's a show, not a fight. if you think any differently, then you're an idiot.

want to see real fighting? watch that ultimate fighter kickboxing crap.

hence the name - world wrestling entertainment. i doubt anyone here over the age of eight believes the fighting and/or drama is real. nevertheless sometimes the injuries are real.

as far as UFC is concerned, yeah its cool and bloody but frankly i would've been upset to have paid for ufc 61 to see a shamrock/ortiz match that lasted less then a minute.

anyways getting back to the thread, yes the hogan-andre match was great. i need to see wrestlemania III again so i can watch that match.

Same can be said for any action movie or television show. Does that make them any less entertaining?

we know it's fake but it's also alot of work to put into the show. u try jumping off that cage for a living and u can say it's crap. it's just entertainment, instead of watching a comedy u watch wrestling, less to think about and more exiting

For all the people making fun of wrestling: grow up. People like different things than you, doesnt mean you can come into their thread and rip on it. No one asked for your opinion and quite frankly no one cares.

I don't like wrestling anymore, but when I did my favorite match's were with HHH and Mankind, and also a lot of those crazy TLC matches.

UFC isn't even fun any longer, all the brutality and maming is gone, people tap-out and matches are called too easily.

Since I was a kid. Doesn't stop me from watching - never will.

I tried watching MMA now that we get the Fight Network up here... actually got tired of it after a couple months. When the free preview of that channel was over I just let it go.

They had to add more rules and make it safer in order make it basically a socially accepted sport and get it on mainstream TV. Hopefully Pride won't go the same way when it comes to America.

Anything that comes to America changes to suite "the people of America's" tastes...thats the way its always been If you want to make money in a business, send it to America and do whatever "they" want!
