Just wondering what you all think. I've had a dell 2005 and now a 2405 so I've ran 1680x1050 and 1920x1200 on 20 and 24" screens....and my current lappy a 9200 has 17" 1680x1050 and that's small.

I used a buddies 17" 1920x1200 and I just thought it was WAY too small for my liking....anyone else use one of these screens?

not crazy at all

My inspiron 9100 has a 15.1" screen and it has 1920 x 1200 and i love it.

i wish my 20" was 1920 x 1200 - i love small screens, i would love 2000 x on this laptop if it was possible, i can sit 3ft away from this screen and read everything fine.

Not true at all. My XPS True-Life 1900-1200 screen is great and couple that with my 7800GTX Go, its great.

lol i don't consider the 7800 go a mobile gpu lmao too much heat for me to handle haha :)

yeah, but in games you don't notice too much with not being in a non-native resolution. So there's nothing wrong with having a 1920x1200 desktop in windows and running at a lower res for games.

I had a 3ghz opty and SLI 7900GTX's and couldn't run Oblivion at 1920x1200 with HDR...so I had to lower and run at 1680x1050, and it still looked beautiful (this was on a 2405fpw)

With a 17" display I'm sure that the lower reolutions would be even less of an issue since the pixels are already so small.
