I have a P2B-F board. I udated the bios and have an Asus slocket. I bought a 933MHz PIII FC-PGA (sl52q). The board boots fine leaving the slocket at the default setting.

No matter what I try I cannot get it above 700MHz. I have tried 1.8v on the slocket and it just sits at 700.

Thanks

Could be the board too. Those BX chipsets don't TECHNICALLY support a 133 Mhz FSB (though they do have a setting for it). Check the slotket for jumpers, but if that fails, just use the set on the motherboard. When I was using a slotket on a P2B-B, I didn't have jumpers on the slotket except for the ones that changed the Vcore, so I HAD to do it from the motherboard.

Try setting the slotket to 133 fsb and..

Then see if it boots..

The slotket should be doing the job really but about the BX chipset.. Hmmm ;/
