X1900GT Unlock?

X1900GT Unlock?


OK, i just bought a connect3d X1900GT from newegg for about 180 dollars after a 100 dollar rebate. Just that alone is a good enough deal, but i was wondering, does anybody know of a working bios flash for this card to flash it to a X1900XT. That could possibly be the cheapest X1900XT on earth!

(to think i was gunna pay 140 for a 7600gt)

You can check this thread, but the procedure looks sketchy at this point...

I read that whole thread when I was looking at a X1900GT and out of all that tried unlocking, only two successfully did. One of those guys actually burned up his card later on, so chances of unlocking the other 4 pipes are pretty slim.
