upgrade

Any thoughts / advice on which way I should upgrade would be appreciated.

1- AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Windsor 2000MHz HT 2 x 512KB L2 Cache Socket AM2 Dual Core Processor - Retail - $195

Motherboard
ATI RD580 Crossfire Motherboard - $200 ~ When Available
Or
Foxconn C51XEM2AA- 8EKRS2H ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail - $195

2- Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 - $210 ~ When Available

Motherboard:
ABIT AB9 Pro Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail - $160

All are excellent choices.

If you want pure CPU performance, go with Intel

If you want to actually use the Crossfire go with the ATI

If you want a bit faster system with AMD go with Foxconn

i will not be using dual vid cards.
