3 monitors, PCIE X1800XT & PCI 9250 card - Driver issue?

Hi,

I have a X1800XT PCIE card & a PCI 9250 card. I have 3 monitors running a large 3 screen area. Currently, I tried to upgrade from Cat 6.5 to Cat 6.7. Of course, I didnt read any instructions, grabbed the latest drivers & off I went.

Surprise suprise, my system wont reboot. To make a long story short, afte Cat 6.5, ATI made the 9250 card a "non supported" card. So, if I want to run a X1800XT & a 9250 card, I am stuck with no more driver updates.

I dont mind buying a better PCI card to run the two monitors on (the main one is on the X1800XT card) but I dont think there is anything out there that would work.

Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rich

I am running a P5WD2-E Premium mobo (asus).

It didnt occur to me to get a PCIE video card (since my main video card is PCIE). So, is there a difference in the main video PCI E & a second slot (does my mobo have a second slot? It looks like just PCI slots.

Ya just buy a X1300 or 1600 and you are set. Multi screen runs so much smoother with 2 PCI-E cards then with an old crusty pci card. Takes me back to the hellish days when I had to run an AGP and PCI card.
