Hey,

So I haven't really been following seti too much but I was wondering if they had changed up how long it takes to complete a unit.

I have a 2.4c stock and it is taking around 20+ hours:eek: to finish a unit..... The computer is making an avg. of 116.22 credits per day. Now I think that seems low but not sure.

Here are some of the latest

Any thoughts?

Edit - I am running version 5.4.9

You know about the new advanced units? Seems too long even for those. Got something else eating up cpu time?

When I go to task manager it says that both are 48-50 percent of cpu usage. Nothing else seems to be taking more than 1-2 percent every now and then.

Hmm you should try using an optimized Seti application if you are not already using it, that should bring the times down.
But yea 20+hours is too much even for stock client.

YOu can get one here: link

I actually think that I am trying an opt. one. Honestly, I have formatted soo many times in the last month+ I have forgotten. Will check it out tomm.

What type of credit should I be getting from this bad boy?

Hard to say, I would expect around 250 for running optimized 24/7 @ stock. Alot more if its overclocked.

Thanks, that is what I thought I should be around.
