my best interweb buddy's problem :(

my best interweb buddy's problem :(


a friend oc'd a 3800 am2 and now his fps ingames cant go higher than his montior's refresh rate which is 85 and he used to get 140 fps in cs:source. all he did was change his mulitpier to 11 , fsb to 240 and put his htt at 4. He put everything back to stock afer he got this problem it didnt help at all. wha should he do besides pray?

p.s. he is gay ^_^

As if he could notice the difference between 85 fps and 140 anyway. I don't know why anyone would play a game without vsync it causes terrible tearing
