memory issues....please help

i just got my new dfi slidr expert and also bought another GB of ram with it. so now i have 4x512mb sticks of corsair value select (i know.......not great but itll do for now....hopefully). the old sticks i have have 16x32mb chips and the new stuff has 8x64mb......can these work together?

i have the 2 old sticks in atm (cos it wont boot with all 4) in dimm1 yellow and orange. obviously i want to run all 4 and would like some help for you very talented people.

It boots with the new 2? Did you oc your old ram? If so go into your bios and change the values to auto, and try all four, that may work.
