I was playing Cs:s and my Hd was making weird click noises, my screen went blank and nothing would respond. I restarted and I get "Master drive record error". I loaded with ubuntu linux so my system is fine, but it appears my hard drive is dead. Is there any way to transfer my data over, or am I screwed? Who makes a good, inexpensive drive?

Seagate is one the best due to their warranty, plus they are pretty good. Right now they have a 320 for 95$ at the egg. I like Maxtor as well, and Raptors but they aint really inexpensive.
