Alright, now that i've finally been able to get back into the game, i've been pushing out some heavy PPD as fast as I can. My current target?

WarriorII

Nothing personal, you're just the closest on the overtake list that I know. See you in 6 days.

Personal ?!??? if anything, it's personal!!
(lol, j/k)

Yeah, I've been watching you flash your headlights back there.

It's gonna be a long six days my friend. :D

Alright, SO# Xxxxxxxxx has been created to send you a brand new retail motherboard of the same make and model. We also set the delivery to UPS Next Day, in hopes for a timely arrival.

Let us know if there is anything more we can do for you.

Oh really now? Well, you know, I guess those other 3 computers at work could use a good workout. Let's give them a good run, shall we? :) And you know, I think my father restored his computer recently. Probably getting alittle bit too much fat on it. Let's give it a work out as well, neh?

@Midnight Dream, how fast are your machines? I ask because looking at your stats you are running more machines than I but my points per day are 3x yours. Just curious.

no I don't fold for team32, I have too many points to start all over again.

You don't have to start over, just continue to use your same username! Hey, if you have some decent folding guns, you'll fly through the "dead folders" graveyard and be in the Top 20 in no time!

;)

3 of them are 2x2.0GHz (X2's), one is a 2x2.3GHz (main rig, Opty 165), 4 are 1x2.0GHz (2 P4's, 2 Celeron D's)

I am only running these (found in sig):
Asus P4P800SE, 2.4A @ 3.5
Asus P4P800SE, 3.0E @ 3.6
Asus P5LD2, 2.8 PD920 @ 3.8
ASRock 939DUAL-SATA2, 2.2 3700SD
Dfi Lanparty UT NF4 SLI-DR, 1.8 144 Operton @ 2.4
MSI K8T Master2-FAR (MS-9130), 2x Opteron 240

do you run them 24/7? Agian I am just curious, what wu's are you getting.

I already left one team awhile ago now on my second http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=userpage&username=Lord_Anubis

Yea, they all run 24/7. And right now, just on my work comp that i'm on, I have a p1862 and a p2124

Lord_Anubis, while I originally started folding for this team here, I went to the Short Media team for almost 3 years and folded over 800,000 points and over 17,000 wu's with them before I came back here. So team switching isn't that bad (as you already know, since you've done it a couple of times). So if you ever want to come fold a few with us you are entirely welcome and by all means, we welcome your visits here anyways even though you don't fold for us. :)

So WII, what mobo do you have ordered, a Conroe board? I can promise you that a Allendale in a good overclocking board will kick some major arse, points-wise.

And Lord_Anubis, have you thought of getting you c couple of CT-479 adapters along with a couple of Dothan 730's for those P4P800SE boards? I can guarrantee that they will average better than your P4's and consume less power and put out less heat. You can get the Dothans for well less than $100 on eBay nowdays and the CT-479 costs around $50 from ZZF (just checked and they still have them).

a little cheaper than the p5w dh is the p5b deluxe ... still more expensive than the ds3 but according to my measurements it folds the juicy wu's 11% better with the same 6400 and memory.

For lowest cost "bang for the buck", I would recommend the Gigabyte GA 965P DS3. The Asus P5W DH costs quite a bit more and is hard to find right now. ;)

Good stuff, thanks guys! It's amazing what information you can pick up on in a thread-jack!
