ok here my question i have the ultra 120 with a 120mm fan now for some reason the fan runs for a bit and just stops and than it starts up again for a few more sec and its doing this is this normal or is there something wrong here. thanks csst

What fan is it? Is it thermally controlled?
What are your CPU temps at around the moment of the stop?
Is it connected to your PSU or mobo?

yes, i suppose your temps are very low, and then the fan gets very slow or even stops. check the Powermanagement control in bios. Or as "the coolest" said, the fan is thermally controlled.

one thing is sure=> everything is 100% ok.

ok the fan is pluged into my mobo but not sure if its thermal or not i just got really nervous when my fan stops on my x6800 dont want anything to happen to that baby

Well, just watch your temps and see if theres a heat problem.

I also recommend you read the forum's rules about having an inflated signature

I fixed it sorry about that also i was wondering if anyone knew what i can do to keep this fan on in the BIO?
