A friend of mine told he was going to buy a Dell XPS for $2,000 and said he was going to use it for gaming. I went on there to see what kind of hardware is in it and was shocked they are using a Pentium D 930 3.0 cpu. They call this a gaming PC?


Anyway I put something together and would like for you guys to check it over and let me know what you think or make sure I didn't forget anything.

two one gig sticks, and I think that graphics card is kinda useless unless your going to upgrade to 2X 7950 cards. ... If your going to get that, why not get SLI 7900GT's?

Isn't 1 7950 better than 2 7900 GT's?, plus 2 GT's would cost more.

Also if I upgrade the memory I need to downgrade something else...
