o/c blotches

ermmm problem
i got this problem, when i play FEAR it crashes my system and loooads of weird blotches

7300GT ddr 128mb
standard : 500mhz/700mhz

o/c 600/800 (See pic)

i am thinking of getting the Zalman ZM80-D (if all else fails)

Does it work fine, not fps wise mind you, when it is not overclocked or are the issues popping up only when the card is overclocked in FEAR?

Yeah, do you have the problems @ stok? Idf thats the case, you just have a bad card.

Also if you open a temp monitoring program then run fear for say 5 mins, and then quit to the desktop, you might see if heat is the issue or not.

If it's only artifacting @ the OCed frequencies, then that means the OC is too high.

When I played FEAR, I would get artifacts @ speeds where I wouldn't find one in all my other games.

the blotches only appears when i o/c - even by 10mhz

it works perfectly in stock, but o/ced a litte, played GRAW and nfs, worked fine... for about 2hrs, then i tried FEAR. thats when i had a few crashes

but yeah ill try temps - thanks

i know my cpu goes from 36c to 45C during gaming
