Sapphire x1900XTX

I recently pieced together this new rig and this will be my first time using an ATI video card. All my previous nvidia cards have been oc'ed to some degree so I definately want to do the same with this x1900XTX. Within the "control center" the overdrive feature seems to be disabled. I remember it working before but now it just gives me an error. So I downloaded ATItool but I have no idea where to go from here. Im not familiar with ATI so any assistance in overclocking this card would be great. Thanks guys.

Control Center "overdrive" error.

You probably disabled the ati services. Its in one of the stickies, to use atitool to overclock you have to disable two services (ATI smart and ATI hotkey poller, I believe) and that prevents you from using the control center to overclock. I personally prefer using the control center. Atitool is a little finnicky sometimes

Try this..It helped me OC my 1900XT. You have to disable a couple ATI services to OC. Hope this helps..It's in the 1900xt/xtx thread.

Thanks i'll be sure and try it out whenever I have a little more time to do some testing. I must have missed it jumping from page to page in that thread.
