ACPI spindown - manually?

Hi guys,

Is there any utility out there that will allow you to manually spin down a hard disk (like ACPI does)?

I have a file server that i don't always use, and the disk makes a pretty big racket, and generates heat. Default spindown is set to one hour, which is what i need when running things off it, but when I know I won't need it, i'd like to be able to VNC into it and manually shut down the disk.

I am running windows XP on it
