Need a recommendation (video card cooling)

Recently the small fan on my video card (ATi RADEON 9000Pro 128MB) started having a horribly loud sound.

I'm looking for something:
easy to install (i built this rig, but it's all stock),
cheap (if i had money to burn i'd be buying a new computer),
quiet (i like to leave this thing on while i sleep for a few hours at least).

Only has to be as good as stock cooling. Suggestions?

I've been extremely pleased with the silent performance of the Aerocool VM-101 on an ATI 9600 Pro. If don't have space between VGA and the CPU, it isn't too difficult to modify rather significantly.

thats kinda of a kill over....... lol its only a 9000 just get a small fan and stick it in your case tie it with some pastic straps.

Yup if you can sip tie a 80MM fan to the PCI slots it will cool with the fan off I have done this before alsoworks well.

can i just pull the power connector from the card to stop the current fan? or will that cause an error?

u can do that. just make sure the other fan is running. you can find a same size fan try to replace it. it might be hard but its possible.
