I have a GeForce3 (I know crappy card, but I don't use the computer for gaming) and the fan's really loud. I've seen lots of cards that come with only a heatsink and no fan. So I looked on Newegg for VGA heatsinks and couldn't find any, they only have VGA fans or heatksink/fan combo. Is there some where that I can buy a better heatsink for my card, or would I be better off just buying a new graphics card?

Search for things like "Passive"

Heck with the GF3, you could probably use Zalmans NB passive heatsinks with good airflow.

Here is one:

Just make sure you have enough clearance between the VGA/NB/CPU

PS - I use the same one on a ATI 8500LE @275/275 with the top Heatsink removed, fully passive.

wow, fast replies:) thanks for the suggestions, I think I'll order one of the zalman northbridge coolers
