My bro is building a new pc... these are all in the same price range and he can only afford one. Which card is the best out of these three?

Aren't the 7900GTO's faster than the 7950 GT's? I thought they had faster memory?

I know GTO's used to be OEM PC cards, like Dell. The GTO's were slower than the regular GT's.

So I guess it means GTOEM

Hehe,

The GTO is 3-5% slower than a GTX. The cards are limited edition... just released on the 27th I think. I have purchased 2 to replace my 6600GT's. My brother has now purchased 1 for his new pc. They cost 287.00ish shipped =D.

=) I convinced him... I parted out his old pc to help cover the cost of better components ;)... He never used it... laptop nerd....

yeah the 7900 GTO will outperform the 7950GT for less money...pretty darn good card for the money.

your probably gonna have to flip the 7900gt 512 and 7950gt..... an Evga 7900gt ko 512 is 560/1550 stock.... with 1.2ns memory... a 7950gt is 550/1400 stock with 1.4ns memory..... my 7900gt ko 512mb at stock has beaten all the stock 7950gt benchmarks i have seen...

Yeah, it wasn't worth the price to get a 7950GT .. and the 7900GTO was only a little more than a 7900GT KO. =) I'm happy he saw the light and didn't go with a 7600 GT!

ATI RULES!!!!!!!!!

Ha, Ha! just kidding! I though I would through that in there to liven things up a bit. It looks like I will probably be getting the 7900 gto then.

They are awesome ... heavy though... I just got mine today =).

I'm glad I have been trying to wait.. I think this may be what I get instead of dishing out extra $$ for a new G80 card.. Can anyone for sure confirm that these are really the 7900 GTX cards with the older Samsung memory on then clocked down to avoid the artifact issues they were having at 800Mhz on the memory? Or are they in fact new and something different?

Just wondering if when I go to OC the thing I will run into that issue.. I'll be running stock cooler for a while till I can get a water block to fit it..

Thanks!

it seems as though the memory on them is some 1.1ns samsung ddr3 stuff that will do about 1700mhz no prob (2x850)
