Intel P4 2.8 value????

The computer guy at work has offered me a Asus P4P800-SE mobo
with Intel P4 2.8 cpu. He wants $200.00 for both. I can't find much info about the mobo.I find lots of Asus's just not the P4800-SE. I do need the features it offers:agp,ddr,20pin PSU connection,etc.
My question is, of course,is this a fair deal?

hey nakman- Not worth the price bro. It only takes you an additional 120 bucks to set up an extremely oc'able C2D mobo/cpu setup. In terms of performance, the latter is so much more advanced that they aren't even comparable.

skt478 is a dead socket. that pairing would have been amazing like 2 years ago. I actually have a rig similar to that. Good stuff, just not worth that much.
