hi, im trying to configure a pc south of $800 and im getting close to my goal but now im out of ideas and need some help, im waiting for the quad core CPU's and directX 10 graphics cards to get something really highend. So heres what i have so far

Core 2 Duo E6300 $180.00
OCZ Gold 1GB (2 x 512MB) 240-Pin $119.99
connect3D Radeon X1800GTO OEM $169.99
MSI 975X Platinum Socket T $169.99
Hitachi deskstar 160GB OEM $52.67

EDIT ok i dropped the power down to 480W and changed the graphics the an 1800GTO
EDIT 2 the OEM version of the mobo just went MIA and it's retail counterpart is 169.99 jacking the price up to 910.92
EDIT 3 took out the case ill just buy it locally since shipping would be a killer.

well, im not an expert on intel, but Im sure you can save a bit of money if you didnt get a dvd burner(i doubt it though, that a good price) and go caseless :) . Also, i think with that you could probably go with a slightly lower wattage psu, but Im not sure.
 
you could drop some if you got a different Video card and upgrade when DX10 out. Is that Western Digital gonna be your main drive? If not then you could always hold off on that too... Just get the things you truly need.
