Ok I recently got the 80GB iPod video. I have tryed two programs but the audio seems to ALWAYS be out of sync and it drives me nuts when audio is out of sync on any video. What programs are people using? I tryed a search but didnt get much..

I personally use Nero Recode 7, the new version has presets for use with the video iPod. I just pick the source video, pick video iPod from a drop-down menu and pretty much hit OK. I havn't had any problems with it. I heard Videora works and is free, but no personal experience with it. check out www.ilounge.com, they have good forums and tutorials for iPod.

Quite possibly yea. I know that sometimes when you try to convert the Xvid/DivX files to DVD the audio goes out of sync too. Could just be the program your using so try a few different ones first before you try something different. I know one of the fixes for converting them to DVD was to extract the audio and the video seperately, re-encode them seperately and then add them back to each other. Seemed to sort the problem out.

Let me know how it goes

Maybe this can help you :WinAVI iPod Video Converter can support so many files with different formats. It can convert video files to ipod directly, don't need other software. You can try the trial version first.

I use the videora converter and it works great. Tried the cucusoft trial version, wasn't expecting this gigantic 'Free Trial' watermark across the entire screen. The GUI for cucusoft is much more polished that the vidoera one, but functionally, the freeware is fantastic :D
