You don't want 15K RPM SCSI drives. They'll be slower for your applications than a Raptor, generally.

Its alot of expence really, and there are better tech. HD's comming pretty soon anyway.

well l we dont know what op is doing with his rig. so you cant really say for sure raptors will be better or the same.

The uses that would make SCSI better, you wouldn't overclock the machine
