hey i was just wondering what is some of the new technologies out that i havent even heard of , because im trying to build a new comp i currently have an amd 3200+ with 6800 gs oced and 1 gb of ram it runs well but im looking to sell this one and build a new comps i hear that theres some faster ram that is like 1000 mhz or something like that so please reply to this message and tell me what some of the best / newest things are!

Soundblaster X-Fi (amazing)

I am currently dealing with a X6800 8500c5 (1066mhz) ddr2 ram.

Simply put, and after much discussion, disapointment and money. It has become clear to me that very few MoBo's handle this level. In addition no one officially supports 1066mhz memory and call it an Overclock.

1066mhz ram is EXPENSIVE. but if you want the best, Corsair just came out with an entire new line of ram called the Dominator Series. It looks to be the best thing on the planet.

With that said, Dont buy the low end Asus and Gigabyte mobo's. The only mobo that I have confirmed that will run the X6800 on a OC, is the Gigabyte GS6

I hate Asus, and find their business practices to be scummy.
