No printer = No print Preview?

I don't have a printer at this moment, and Word/Excel etc. wouldn't even let me do "print preview". When I try to do that, they keep saying I don't have a printer installed. I had no idea this would happen. Any easy way to get around that? I really need to adjust my work with print preview.
 
You can just manually install any printer driver. Just goto add printer in the printer control panel

Choose install "Local Printer Attached to this computer"
Then take the check off of "Automatically detect and install my plug and play printer. Then hit next, then select LPT1 and hit next Then just select any printer in the list. Maybe an older Canon or HP Deskjet or something with simple drivers.
