Wii is at Best Buy now

I forgot to mention in my running around looking for the HD-DVD drive last night that Best Buy had a working Wii kiosk set up ad running. I didn't stop to play because I was in a hurry and already played it at the Eaton Center last month.

OOh its setup sweet going to have to stop in and try it out. I'll check it out tomorrow at lunch or stop there after work today and see if they have it up by me.

Hoping to get it release day but probably won't beable to play it til X-mas since I'm asking it for a gift Oh well.

It was the one on Upper James. They have demo DVDs for 1 cent too, lol! They had the units hidden out of sight when I played up at Eaton Center, I was surprised how small it is. It REALLY is the size of 3 CD jewel cases and it looks all beatiful and Stra Trekky with the white finish and the blue lights, reminded me of the nacelles on the Enterprise D.

I went to the local BB, and they lQQked @ me like I was nuts when I asked for the Wii. They had no idea about the demo DVD also. I did get the BB Wii Lauch Guide though, and it has coupons for "$5 off" of Call Of Duty 3, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Tony Hawk: Project 8, Elebits, Super Monkey Ball. It also has a coupon for a "FREE Wii Zelda Stratagy Guide" with the purchase of Wii Zelda, and Excite Truck.

It was sitting there in a case behind the 360 and PS2 games. You can't buy one, but you can see it/play the demo. Maybe the store I went to wasn't supposed to put it out yet Circuit City and EB games didn't have the demo units there.

I'm heading up that way tomorrow to pick up my paycheque, so I may just have to head down to Best Buy, too

This is the funniest thing I've read all week, LOL.

Anyone have any clue when the Wii is getting released in black? I wanna wait it out solely because I want it in black and not white... I'll probably end up matching the thing with my Gamecube eventually (Black, with red power LED, and clear jewel that lets you see the disc spinning, backlit with red... all done by me, of course )

Looks really shoddy up close, but you can't notice it from afar. I wish that the acrylic jewel on top was sanded correctly on my first try... I messed it up BAD.

Either way, anyone have any clues when it's coming out in black? Or even if it is? I REALLY REALLY want to get it launch, but I wanna hold off as well...

Twilight Princess is calling me... so tempting

I hate to burst your bubble guys but i was at bb yesterday... the wii was there but no wii-mote.... just a crappy vid

probably the same thing at my local one. I was in a hurry and didn't have time to stop and check, plus there were a couple of kids standing around it.
