ASUS board looping

My "dependable" ASUS AN78X Delux v 2.0
board upon start up.. beeps fine...
I get the "Logo" then it just... restarts....
And restarts, and restarts....(I cannot get into the Bios)
cleared the CMOS
Tried switching out sticks of RAM
tried IDE and a SATA Hard drives
the Processor is ok..... It's running on this board...(PC Chips)...
TIA...
Just wondering...

You mean the BIOS chip. If the CMOS was corrupted, you can use a jumper and take out the battery to recover.

Just wondering...

That symptom can occur is the Vcore being given is majorly off. Please reset the CMOS.
