Call me crazy, but the sounds are not going to influence me to buy Vista. Besides, most people, even beginners can change the sounds of Windows XP and Vista to whatever you like.

This thread is pointless.

The sounds are less annoying, and not as loud... which is great when you have your computer connected to your soundsystem.

I changed my Grandmothers startup sound in ME to the sound that Jason voorhees has playing whenever he is about to kill.

My grandma liked it, everyone else either laughed or yelled at me for doing it.
