OCZ GSX 600W 8-pin CPU power?

If i place the two 4-pin CPU plugs on my PSU togeather will it work the same way that an 8-pin CPU plug works (compatibillity)???

Judging by the way the clips on the plugs are orientated, it looks like this will work, i just want to get it verified.

Im going to be powering an Abit AW9D-MAX.
 
yes, the OCZ GameXStream 600W/700W are EPS power supplies, so they will have 8pin power connectors. So yes, those 2 4pins are for that use. They should be keyed so they only go in one way.

Don't they actually connect together? My OCZ Powerstream 520W did.
 
You can orientate them so that they would resemble one connector, as the clips are offset to accomplish this.
The 20+4 Pin MOBO rail is the one that interlocks to give you 24 pin mobo power.
