Question New system see's my 250GB Hard Drive as 131GB???

I just upgraded my system to the 680 board with the INTEL dual core processor from my ASUS/AMD rig. The hard drive had VISTA RC1 on it. I wanted to install my copy of WINDOWS XP and when I booted from the CD and started the WINDOWS Installation only 131GB of the 250GB hard drive shows up for formatting. I am also having a hard time installing good old fashion WINDOWS XP PRO. Any ideas on how I can wipe my hard drive clean?

You need at least service pack 1 to recognize the size of the HD. (Thinking) How about after installing and updating windows .You use an after market to repartition it?

I would suggest slip streaming your XP disk to SP2 if you want it to be all set for an XP bui;d from the start.

I must have a problem with all of my Windows machines...they never seem to crash.
