Need help setting up SMP client

Ok I kow next to nothing about linux. I dowloaded the live cd Unbuntu boot up ok go to get on the internet . Doesnt find the web pages when I type it in the address bar? but when i use the google search tab it uses goold fine ?

LOL this is my first problem of manny . I know i can count on you guys to help me out

I started a thread here for assistence and exchange of information on SMP folding.

On FC.org an SMP forum has been set up to handle the exchange of information as well.

Right now my porb isnt folding it is linux heh it doesnt seam liek the dns server is getting picked up or somthing
As for the FAh i think it is working =) i did ./fah5
and gave it the info for the cfg then it downlaoded and is now running ( i think ) I used a different user name so i could have a better idea how well the smp works = )
Its sitting @ a screen that says

edit yup it is working it is now 1% finished =)
