I was the first person out of Best Buy this morning! I actually got in and out before 5AM. I might say that I got in and out with a DV6103 laptop too!

weee! This thing has touch sensitive controls too, pretty sweet...

I know someone is interested I was there at 10pm last night waiting.

I just hate all the crappy software thats installed on it. I think I'll just upgrade the ram to 1GB and use it from then on out unless I come across a core duo cpu for cheap enough.

Core Solo 1.86ghz
512mb ram ddr2
80gb hdd
lightscribe burner
media center 2005

so far I'm enjoying it, minus uninstalling all this crap software.

oh I'd love to reformat this thing BUT IT DOESN'T COME WITH CDS!!! thats one thing I hate about these new laptops.

I'm looking for ram, Its been a while since I've looked into this. I'm looking for a gig. I can do a single 1gb stick for cheaper than 2 512 sticks it appears(from newegg). These run in dual channel right? How noticeable would it be not running in dual channel?

As soon as I figure out if I'll loose performance by not going dual channel or not, I'm gonna upgrade the ram, then it'll b like or better than my old laptop I sold this spring for $900
