SanDisk Cruzer Micro 2GB, I need help finding one

Well, you know, these are those nice black ones with the retractable USB head:

Circuit City had these for 12.99 on black friday, and they were all out when I got there, but then I heard the day after they got a new shipment in and still sold them at that price!!!! Argh I missed it twice!

If anyone might happen to know if I could find a pretty good deal 40 bucks or less somewhere on cyber monday that would be nice.

Thanks a bunch

Yea, I was PO that I missed it once, but hey...usually not everything on black friday goes perfect, so I wasn't too bummed, but then finding out I could have gotten them the day after really killed me.

AHHH!! I missed both of them?..again?....*sigh*..well one thing i don't like about the new black flash drives is the U3 program. It takes a lot longer for the drive to get it ready to use than the older ones...and the program seems to be an annoyance when used with different computers everyday...(i.e. school pc labs)

It's not the Cruiser but not a bad deal for 2GB at http://www.buy.com/prod/acp_ep_memor...tml?adid=17662

I actually picked up 3 of the $7 1GB Cruisers for nieces and nephews but I'm thinking one might need to go in my stocking. Is that wrong of me?

You can remove the U3, Sandisk has an app
I also grabbed the one from Staples for $7, Staples also had a 4GB for 59$ online

Hmmmmmmmmm.... if you can get that to work with google checkout you can get that for $4.00 after rebate. Might be worth checking out.

The old one was nice, but I kinda like the retractable USB head on the new one so you never have to screw with a cap.

Bummer, I just missed that too.

I think I might just try and sell my old one and try and grab one off of craigslist for 40 bucks or so.

Well, make sure you get your order right everyone, eCost is notorious for not reading any of your emails. I forgot to change to ground shipping and ended up paying more for shipping than for the flashdrive. The sad part is, I might as well have done ground shipping considering it is taking eCost 3 or 4 days just to get the thing processed and ready to ship.

Finally it shipped, I should have it by around this time tommarow. Ecost never did respond to an email and change the shipping, but I am not too bummed, I am still getting this cheaper than I could have gotten it on Craigslist.

Let us know when you get it. I have always loved that drive for its size.

I just got it! Wow it is like a feather compared to my Kingston. It is about as long, but much narrower and I love the retractable USB head. Haven't had any problems with U3 running either.
