X-FI won't boot

I just got a X-FI extreme music, but when I put it in my system, it wont boot. System doesn't boot up at all and nothing displays on my monitor. The green light just blinks. I did disable the onboard sound, but other than that, I dont see any other settings to change.

Do I have a bad card? or am I missing something?

It was a bad card, I exchanged it. OMG the difference! Im going to game for a few more hours and comment.
