I'm building a workstation of sorts for our new home office and obviously won't be overclocking. I need the machine to be cool/stable and on almost 24/7.

So am I right, that all components running at stock, I should just stick with 533mhz DDR2 memory? (was thinking of 2GB of Corsair) Or can I run CPU and DDRAM at different speeds?

Thanks!

*sorry if this is a stupid question, but I'm new to Intel.

I'm curious as to why you went with the p5b-deluxe if you're not overclocking the p5b-e would suffice or at least I'd imagine it would. Also as for ram just go with the cheapest ram with a solid warranty and decent timings.

But yes if you aren't overclocking there is no need for 800+.
