Hi everyone, I am running Windows Vista, and the drivers don't support software mode or OpenGL with my ATi X700.

I had CS working fine at 1024X768 in D3D, but I decided to up the resolution and it crashed into software mode.

The problem is, with these drivers when it does crash into software mode, CS is so artifacted and distorted I can't navigate the menus to change it back.

Is there a way I can manually change this setting in a config file or something?

I figured it out. I was able to get CS to display correctly by going into my registry, HKEY_Users and then to software, valve, settings, and I set it to run in windowed mode. From there I was able to get in and change back to D3d.
