i'm trying to find anyone that's overclocked the 'budget' 946pl or 946gz chipsets from intel. seeing as they're relatively new products, they should have the benefit of a mature process. since several 945 boards have been reaching 350+ fsb speeds, 946 should have some potential. why has it been ignored?
i know that the gigabyte ga-946gz-ds3 and ga-946gm-ds2 both support fsb overclocking, at least via software, but haven't found a single person that's attempted it.
i guess asking for a budget board that'll hit 400+ stable is asking a bit much, but it'd sure be nice.
