SLI Video Cards w/Diff Temps Normal?

I am running 2 7900GTO cards in SLI config. GPU1 generally reads 5-7degs cooler than GPU2 (Current GPU1 36c, GPU2 42c). Is this normal? Is GPU1 generally the one on top?

yes thats normal, because the second card has less airflow than that top one

Funny, mines the opposite. Card 1 is hotter then card 2. Yes gpu 1 is on top, and yes it's normal.
